Sizing: list devices, note startup vs rated watts (motors/printers/AC draw 5-7x rated at start). Sum all watts, divide by PF, add 20-30% safety margin for surge and future expansion. E.g. 800W server + 250W NAS + 30W router + 60W switch = 1140W; x1.3 = 1482W; /0.8 = 1.85kVA -> choose 2kVA. Backup time ~ (battery V x Ah) / load watts; remember real runtime is 70-80% of ideal due to efficiency and aging. For high‑temperature & high‑humidity environments: LiFePO₄ batteries deliver approximately 2000 cycles, feature lighter weight and superior thermal tolerance.

SE Asia: unstable grid/lightning, prefer online double-conversion UPS; 1-10kVA tower/rack types most popular.
